"Single family residential (SFR) marketing times in most Central Oregon market areas increased last month, which is common for this time of year. The Bend SFR market had a strong number of sales in September, closing the month with 180 SFR sales. A monthly level not seen since September of2022 -183 sales. The median sale price declined in Bend from $769k in August to $713k; however, inventory declined slighty as well. Low level of inventory is counter to a market experiencing a declining trend.
The SFR market in Redmond is consistently showing a stable median sale price and the inventory remains around a 2-month supply. As expected for this time of the year, market times are tending upwards.
The quarterly figures for the smaller Central Oregon SRF markets are included in this report. The smaller market areas also show a growing level of inventory over the past year. Median sale price in the smaller market areas range from stable to slightly increasing."
